1. Information we collect
When you create an account or use the Yellow Seaside Global app, we may collect the following sample categories of information:
- Account details — name, email address, and date of birth, used to verify you meet our minimum age requirement.
- Usage data — the moods, filters and categories you select, and which suggestions you open.
- Approximate location — used only while the app is open, to suggest nearby experiences.
- Device information — device type, operating system, and app version, for troubleshooting.
2. How we use it
We use the information above to operate and improve the app, including to:
- Personalize the activities and places we suggest to you.
- Maintain the integrity of our on‑chain review system.
- Respond to support requests and phone enquiries.
- Understand aggregate usage trends so we can improve the product.
3. On‑chain data
Reviews and check‑ins you choose to submit are written to a public blockchain to keep them tamper‑proof. Only an anonymized identifier, a rating, and a timestamp are recorded on‑chain — your name, email and precise location are never written to the chain, and on‑chain entries cannot be deleted once confirmed.
4. Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:
- Service providers who help us run the app, such as hosting and analytics partners, under confidentiality agreements.
- Business partners, only with your explicit consent — for example, when you redeem an offer.
- Authorities, where required to comply with the law or protect the safety of our users.
5. Your choices
You can review, correct, or delete your account information at any time from the app's settings, and you can turn off location access from your device settings. Because on‑chain entries are permanent by design, previously submitted reviews cannot be removed from the chain, though they can be disassociated from your account.
6. Security
We use industry‑standard encryption in transit and at rest, and limit internal access to personal data on a need‑to‑know basis. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
7. Children's privacy
Yellow Seaside Global is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16, and we will delete any such information if we become aware of it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app and update the "last updated" date above.
